Yami Gautam discusses how her life has changed since marrying director Aditya Dhar in an exclusive interview.
Who says married life isn’t difficult? Nothing is difficult when you are with the person you love. Even life’s difficulties have little or no effect. However, you had to remain faithful to your beloved in order to do so. You must have faith in your love, as Yami Gautam does.
The actress is on a roll, with her most recent film, ‘A Thursday,’ earning her high praise from all quarters. The suspense thriller is a hit with audiences, and Yami Gautam Dhar’s performance has been hailed as her best in her career. “It’s still the same,” Yami said while speaking to DNA about how different life is after marriage (smiles)… Nothing in your life changes unless you have a husband, wife, or partner with whom you share a home. The biggest difference for me is that when I get home, I have someone with whom I can spend the rest of the day happily.”
The actress is overjoyed to now have a larger family. “I am from Chandigarh, though I was born in Himachal Pradesh. I was raised there and completed my education there. My parents, sister Surilie, and I are all present. They used to come to (meet me in) Mumbai on occasion, but you prefer to be with your family at home. As a result, I now have a larger family (exclaimed smilingly). It feels fantastic, and everything is changing for the better. “You should not think too much and make unnecessarily rules or any such things in your head,” the actress continued. There are now goals for power couples… you are the best judge and you create the best life for yourself, your people, and your family.”
Yami married her ‘URI: The Surgical Strike’ director Aditya Dhar on June 4, 2021, while filming her recently-released film. The actress also stated that she wanted to finish the film before her wedding because she didn’t want to shoot such a difficult film right after her wedding.
‘A Thursday’ is currently available to watch online.
