The Yamaha YZF-R15M V4 MotoGP edition is no longer available for purchase on the company’s website. Yamaha’s super sport motorcycle received a special edition with a livery inspired by its YZR-M1 MotoGP race bike.
- Featured Monster Energy and Eneos logos
- Mechanically identical to the R15 V4
- R15 World GP 60th Anniversary Edition introduced recently
In September of last year, the limited-edition R15M MotoGP Edition was launched at Rs 1.79 lakh, which was Rs 2,000 more than the standard R 15M. The special edition was only cosmetically altered, with a black and blue color scheme with Monster Energy and Eneos logos to match Yamaha’s YZR-M1 MotoGP race bike.
The MotoGP Edition was mechanically identical to the standard R15 V4, which is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder engine that produces 18.4hp at 10,000rpm and 14.2Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.
While the MotoGP Edition is no longer available, Yamaha has just released a new special edition of the R15M called the World GP 60th Anniversary Edition. Yamaha’s iconic white and red’speed block’ color scheme is featured on the special edition super sport motorcycle, which also features gold alloys and front fork tubes. The fuel tank has a special badge, and the levers are black. The R15M World GP 60th Anniversary Edition costs Rs 1.88 lakh, which is only Rs 1,000 more than the regular R15M, which was recently increased in price.
