If media reports are to be believed, Yamaha has announced that the next generation RX 100 will be relaunched with a bigger engine and advanced features. Yamaha India President Ishin Chihana has said that the RX100 will make a comeback. According to him, the RX100 will retain its current name. There will be no other motorcycle to take its place. The company says that the identity of this bike will not be hidden.

Expected to return to the market with a powerful engine

It is expected that the new upcoming RX100 bike will be brought with a more powerful engine than before. At present, the company has the famous Raider 125 model with 125 cc engine. At the same time, Yamaha’s 150cc and 250cc engine models are also well-liked. Hence, it is expected that the upcoming bike may fall between 125cc to 250cc range. With this engine, the RX100 will directly compete with Royal Ennfield motorcycles.

Talking about the maximum speed, Yamaha Rx 100 could run at a speed of 100 kmph.
