In China, the OnePlus 10 Pro was released, while in India, the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R are available for purchase.
The Chinese company launched the OnePlus 10 Pro in its home market on January 11th. The OnePlus 10 is an upgrade over last year’s flagship, the OnePlus 9 Pro. The OnePlus 9R, which was released alongside the OnePlus 9 last year, is the most affordable smartphone in the OnePlus 9 series. All three phones have Hasselblad cameras with at least one 48-megapixel sensor (of a different make). The OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to make its debut in India, but there is no information on when it will be available.
There are several hardware differences between the three OnePlus phones. The OnePlus 10 Pro is the most recent of the bunch, with more advanced features than the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R. We’ll compare the specs of the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R in this article.
Storage differences between the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R?
In Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black, the OnePlus 10 Pro is available in three RAM and storage configurations: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB.
The OnePlus 9 Pro (Review) and OnePlus 9R (Review), on the other hand, are available in 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage configurations. While the OnePlus 9 Pro is available in Morning Mist, Pine Green, and Stellar Black, the OnePlus 9R is only available in Carbon Black and Lake Blue.

Specifications of the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R
The OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, and OnePlus 9R all support dual-SIM (Nano) and run OxygenOS, an Android-based operating system. While the OnePlus 10 Pro ships with ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12, the OnePlus 9 Pro received an Android 12 update last year. The OnePlus 9R still runs Oxygen OS, which is based on Android 11.
The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1,440×3,216 pixels) curved AMOLED display with a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, a dynamic refresh rate of 1Hz to 120Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits. The screen on the OnePlus 9 Pro is similar to that on the OnePlus 10 Pro. It has a 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display with curved edges, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, and 525ppi pixel density. A 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and 402ppi pixel density is featured on the OnePlus 9R.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powers the OnePlus 10 Pro, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC powers the OnePlus 9 Pro, and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC powers the OnePlus 9R.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a triple rear camera setup for photos and videos, with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 primary sensor, an f/1.8 lens, and optical image stabilisation (OIS). A 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS and 3.3x optical zoom are included, as well as a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video chats, it has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera with an f/2.4 lens.

There’s a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor.
On the front, both the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9R have 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie cameras.
The OnePlus 10 Pro has a 5,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports wired charging at 80W and wireless charging at 50W. The 4,500mAh battery on the OnePlus 9 Pro supports Warp Charge 65T and Warp Charge 50 Wireless fast charging. A 4,500mAh battery powers the OnePlus 9R, which supports Warp Charge 65 fast charging.
The OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 9 Pro have 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The OnePlus 9R has the same options as the OnePlus 9 except it has Bluetooth v5.1. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. For biometric authentication, all phones have fingerprint sensors embedded in the display.
