Following the cancellation of the 2022 edition, the biennial auto show will most likely be held in February 2023.
While no dates have been set, the next iteration, like the previous ones, is expected to take place in early February.
The next year’s edition was cancelled in August, with organisers SIAM citing safety concerns for all parties involved.
It has served as a launch pad for a number of new models as well as a way to gauge customer interest in new or upcoming products over the years.
Important models debuting or launching at the Expo in recent years have included the second-generation Hyundai Creta, the third-generation Maruti Suzuki Swift.
