The Madhya Pradesh police on Sunday used water cannons on former chief minister Digvijaya Singh and different Congress employees who have been protesting in opposition to the state authorities in Bhopal over a proposed workplace to be constructed on state land.
The Congress employees led by Mr Singh have been protesting in opposition to the federal government’s resolution to allot 10,000 square-feet of land in Bhopal to an RSS-linked establishment.
