Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday introduced a bundle of Rs 200 crore for individuals within the tourism sector and for these whose livelihoods rely on the Chardham Yatra.
At a press convention in Uttarkashi, Mr Dhami stated the bundle was wanted contemplating the hostile results of COVID-19 on vacationer actions and the Chardham Yatra.
“The pandemic has brought tourist activities to a halt and the Chardham Yatra remains suspended. Hotels, tour operators and porters whose trades are connected directly with tourism and the Chardham Yatra have been hit really hard,” the chief minister stated.
The bundle will profit 1.63 lakh households within the state and it’s being introduced regardless of the economic system not being in a good condition, he stated.
Under the bundle, the cash shall be transferred on to financial institution accounts of individuals in these sectors, the chief minister stated.
Concessions may also be given on licence charges for beginning completely different business actions, he stated.
