Ukraine Minister urges Elon Musk for help

In a recent development, Ukraine has written to Elon Musk, requesting that he “give us your internet access via Starlink company.”

After a Kyiv official urged Elon Musk to provide his embattled country with stations, the tech titan announced today that his company SpaceX’s Starlink satellite broadband service had been activated in Ukraine.

“Starlink service is now operational in Ukraine,” Musk wrote on Twitter, adding that “more terminals are on the way.”

The tweet came about ten hours after Ukrainian Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov urged Musk to provide Starlink services to Ukraine, just days after the country was invaded by Russia.
