Two people were injured after allegedly being hit by a car in the Vikaspuri area of west Delhi on Monday morning, according to police.

They said Ranjeet Kumar and Nisha, both of Vikaspuri, had been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to police, the incident occurred around 6.30 a.m. while Rishab was driving to the gym in his car.

Nisha suddenly appeared in front of his car, and the driver attempted to make a U-turn to save her, but the vehicle lost control and collided with her and Ranjeet.

The car was found to be involved in an accident when officers arrived, and the two injured were taken to a hospital for treatment, according to a senior police officer.

According to police, an eyewitness statement was recorded, and the accused driver Rishab was apprehended on the spot.

They stated that a case had been filed and that appropriate legal action had been taken.
