Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home surpasses the 200 crore mark at the box office

At the domestic box office, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home has surpassed the $200 million mark. Despite restrictions imposed by the rise in Covid-19 cases and competition from films such as 83 and Pushpa: The Rise, the film has managed to accomplish this feat.

Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted in Indian theatres on December 16 and has grossed a total of 202.34 crore.

“#SpiderMan hits 200 cr…,” trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, sharing the box office figures for the film. With a domestic box office collection of 260 crore, Spider-Man: No Way Home is also the highest-grossing release of 2021. It’s also the world’s biggest hit since the coronavirus outbreak. After Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, the film is Sony Pictures Entertainment’s third-highest grossing Hollywood film in India.

The weekend box office in the United States for Spider-Man: No Way Home was estimated to be $52.7 million. The film has a three-week global total of $1.37 billion, with China and Japan yet to see it.
