While stealing valuables from the house of a policeman in Bhind metropolis of Madhya Pradesh, a thief left behind an apology letter stating that he was committing the act to save lots of a pal”s life and can return the stolen cash, the police stated on Tuesday.
The theft occurred on the house of a policeman, who works in Chhattisgarh, whereas his household lives in Bhind metropolis, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Kamlesh Katare of Kotwali police station stated.
According to the police, the thief left behind a letter stating, “Sorry friend, it was a compulsion. If I had not done this, then my friend would have lost his life. Don’t worry, as soon as I get the money, I will return it.”
The policeman’s spouse and kids had left for a relative’s place on June 30, and after returning house on Monday evening, they discovered that the locks of the rooms had been damaged and issues have been mendacity scattered, the official stated.
The thief stole some silver and gold ornaments, he stated, including that it’s suspected some acquaintance of the household was concerned within the act.
A case has been registered on this regard and additional investigation is underway, the official stated.
