The screen protector for the largest phone (possibly the Galaxy S22 Ultra) is the only one with square edges, which is a Note series feature.
Samsung is said to have turned the knob on its flagship Note series of smartphones in a recent turn of events. All of the Note series’ features are expected to be included in Samsung’s top-tier S series and Galaxy Z series smartphones. Galaxy S-Pen support is available on both the S and Z series’ current flagship smartphones. According to a new report, the Samsung Galaxy S22 series’ top smartphone will have square edges, similar to the Galaxy Note smartphones. Continue reading to learn more about the new phone.
Samsung is about to release the Galaxy S22 smartphone series. While there is little information about the smartphones’ specifications or other details, a tipster recently shared images of screen protectors designed for the upcoming Galaxy S22 series. There are three screen protectors available for the Galaxy S22 lineup’s three smartphones: the standard Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra may have square edges.
The screen protector for the largest phone (possibly the Galaxy S22 Ultra) has square edges out of the three. For those who aren’t aware, Galaxy Note series devices have a square-edged form factor. The Galaxy S22 Ultra could bridge the gap between the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series, despite the lack of official confirmation. All four corners of the other two screen protectors are rounded.
The largest screen protector in one of the images shared by known tipster Ice Universe does not have a hole punch, while the other has a centrally located cutout for the front-facing camera. In some images, neither of the screen protectors has a front-facing camera, while in others, they do. While the images of the screen protector do not reveal much about the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, they do reveal the smartphone’s form factor.
Last month, renders of the upcoming Galaxy S22 series surfaced online. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to have a flatter form factor, with a flat front screen and a flat back panel, according to the renders. The cameras appear to be flush with the smartphone’s black panel. If the renders are to be believed, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will have a significantly different design than the previous smartphone in the series.
