The Redmi Note 11S is Scheduled to Launch in India on February 9

Redmi India’s next phone, the Redmi Note 11S, will be released on February 9 in India. Here’s what we know about the device so far.

The Redmi India’s next phone will be released on February 9 in India. The brand’s first device for 2022 will be the Redmi Note 11S. The Redmi Note 11T 5G was previously released in the market towards the end of 2021.

It’s worth noting that Redmi is releasing one version of its coveted Note series at a time, rather than releasing all of them at once. Typically, the Redmi Note, as well as its Pro and Pro Max variants, are released in the first half of the year, followed by the S and other variants later in the year. Nonetheless, the Redmi Note 11S will be a closely watched launch, as it will offer a good value for money, as do most Redmi phones.

The back of the Redmi Note 11S will feature four cameras, with the 108MP version serving as the primary camera. The back of the phone has a matte finish with a glass sandwich design. It also appears that this will be a 4G phone, as Redmi has made no mention of 5G connectivity. Other details about the Redmi Note 11S are scarce, but it is expected to be a budget-friendly model, with a price tag of under Rs 14,000 rupees. Last year, the Redmi Note 10S was priced at Rs 14,999.

In China, Redmi has already introduced the Note 11 series, which is powered by MediaTek processors. However, Qualcomm chipsets are expected to power the global variants.

The Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be unveiled for markets outside of China on January 26 as part of a global launch.

It’s worth noting that the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ comes with 120W wired fast charging in China, which its parent company Xiaomi has made available on its mid-priced flagships. This fast charging is supported by both the Xiaomi 11T Pro and Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge variants. We’ll have to wait and see if Xiaomi incorporates this technology into its Redmi phones in India.
