|New Price||Old Price||Difference|
|Force Gurkha||Rs 14.10 lakh||Rs 13.59 lakh||Rs 51,000|
The price of the sole trim that the new Gurkha is available in has increased by Rs 51,000, as shown in the table above. However, this increase is part of a common industry practise in which automakers revise their range prices at the start of each year to account for increases in input costs.
Features of the Force Gurkha in 2022
This price increase has not been accompanied by any new features. As a result, the Gurkha retains a dark grey interior colour scheme, a new touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth support, tilt and telescopic adjustable steering, USB charging sockets for all four occupants, power windows, central locking, air conditioning, LED headlamps with DRLs, TMPS, and even a factory fitted snorkel.
Engine and gearbox for the Force Gurkha in 2022
The new Gurkha is powered by a 2.6-litre diesel engine that produces 91 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, and four-wheel drive with low range and manual locking front and rear differentials is included.
Unfortunately, the Force lacks an automatic transmission option, and the previous-generation Gurkha Xtreme’s 140hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine has been dropped from the lineup.
