Stuart Broad, an England cricketer, and Mollie King, a presenter, have revealed they are expecting their first child.
King, a member of the pop group The Saturdays and a BBC Radio 1 presenter, shared the information on her Instagram page.
The player for Nottinghamshire, Broad, was shown kissing her growing baby in the post.
The 35-year-old couple, who had been dating since 2012, announced their engagement in January 2021.
Broad and King were “totally over the moon,” King wrote in her post.
From his own Instagram account, Broad posted the identical picture with the caption: “We are so excited to have a child at the end of the year, Mollie and I! The future is exciting!”
They received congratulations from their famous pals, including Matt Edmondson, King’s co-presenter, and the members of King’s band.
The announcement comes roughly two weeks after a fire severely damaged a tavern that Broad co-owned.
