The Porsche 718 Cayman GTS and 718 Boxster GTS are now available in India

The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, priced at Rs 1.46 crore and Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom), respectively, are new additions to Porsche India’s mid-engine sports car lineup.

The Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and Porsche 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 offer a one-of-a-kind combination of classic sportiness and practicality. With its emotional 4.0-Litre naturally aspirated six-cylinder flat engine, the GTS 4.0 models are at the evolutionary apex of the 718 models, which are meant for everyday use.

The GTS 4.0 cars have a GTS-spec front bumper with larger air inlets. The top-of-the-line Porsche 718 also comes with tinted front headlights. Apart from that, the 718 GTS 4.0 is distinguished by two distinct stainless steel tailpipes painted in high gloss black that can be seen from a mile away. The sports cars also come with 20-inch matte black alloy wheels.

The naturally aspirated 3,995cc flat-six petrol boxer engine in the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 produces 397PS and 420Nm of torque with a manual gearbox or 430Nm with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Both rear-wheel-drive variants can accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 293 kilometres per hour.

The top-of-the-line GTS 4.0 twins feature Race-Tex microfiber upholstery in the cockpit. There’s also a GT sports steering wheel and Sports Seats Plus. Other features include a semi-digital instrument cluster, a seven-inch infotainment system, the Sport Chrono Package, and an eight-speaker sound system. The Porsche 718 GTS 4.0 twins come with an adaptive rear spoiler, TPMS, sports suspension with a 20mm lower ride height, active damping system, mechanical rear differential with torque vectoring, six-piston and four-piston aluminium brake callipers (front and rear), powered parking brake, and adaptive cylinder management.

Porsche India’s latest addition to the lineup follows the launch of the Porsche Taycan range, the Porsche Macan, and the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition. The 718 GTS 4.0 twins will be available for Rs 1.46 crore for the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and Rs 1.50 crore for the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0.
