It has been two years since the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who via his film ‘Chhichhore,’ spread the message of living life to the masses, passed away. No one will ever be able to fill the hole he has left in the profession and in the lives of his loved ones.

Let us inform you that Sushant was discovered dead at his flat on June 14, 2020. His death was determined to be a suicide. Suicide was also established by the AIIMS inquiry. However, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and loved ones believe that he cannot commit suicide.

The truth about his death is quite different. When Sushant’s family raised their voice to learn the truth about their son’s death and the inquiry began, suspicion fell on a number of people, including Sushant’s claimed girlfriend Riya Chakraborty. It wasn’t long before the conversation turned to drugs. For the past two years, the investigation has been ongoing. How far has it come so far? How many persons were detained before being released? Let’s see…

Following The Funeral, Questions of Investigation Surfaced.

Sushant was cremated in the Pawan Hans cremation in Mumbai the next day, on June 15, after his death on June 14. The Mumbai Police Department ruled it a suicide, although many doubts arose at the time that have yet to be answered. On the one side, Sushant’s father, KK Singh, has called for an investigation.

Aside from that, numerous political figures have called for an investigation, claiming that the murder was the result of a conspiracy. As a result of this, a slew of questions began to emerge from within Bollywood. Kangana Ranaut, a Bollywood actress, has been accused of bullying Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sushant’s Father Filed a Police Report

The entire family, including Sushant’s father, was certain that the occurrence was the result of a plot. Meanwhile, OP Singh, Sushant’s brother-in-law and an Uttar Pradesh IPS officer, has sought a thorough investigation into the case. On July 29, 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, filed a FIR in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar police station for abetment to suicide and exchange of money against six persons, including the son’s purported lover Riya Chakraborty.

It was completed. Following that, on July 29, a team of Patna Police officers traveled to Mumbai to conduct an investigation. However, the Maharashtra Police did not cooperate with the Patna police squad, and they were forced to face opposition.

The governments of both states met face to face as well. Riya Chakraborty had recorded her testimony at the Bandra police station in Mumbai on June 18, even before the investigation began. Riya had previously erased all of Sushant’s social media posts.

The Command was Handed up to CBI

Sushant’s father had requested a CBI investigation on July 4, 2020, before the FIR was lodged, and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recommended it to the Central Government.

On July 16, 2020, Riya Chakraborty, who was the subject of charges, asked a CBI investigation from Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The CBI probe was also approved by the Central Government on August 5, 2020. This was also approved by the Supreme Court on August 19. Following that, the CBI assumed control of the situation.

ED And NCB have also Begun an Investigation

During the inquiry into the conspiracy murder, the subject of where Sushant’s crores of money went surfaced. Riya Chakraborty was also under suspicion.

On July 30, the subject was sent to the Enforcement Directorate. The ED received assistance from the Bihar Police team that went to Mumbai to investigate Sushant’s murder. During this time, the ED learned about Riya Chakraborty’s and others’ connections to the narcotics cartel. The NSB then began its inquiry on the ED’s request, filing a FIR in this case on August 26.

Apart from the CBI, the NSB and the ED interrogated Riya Chakraborty and her family, as well as many others, multiple times. Riya is accused of misappropriating Rs 15 crore by Sushant’s family.

Under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, the Enforcement Directorate began an investigation into the case (PMLA). Riya was questioned regarding Sushant’s investments and financial affairs. Sushant’s previous home manager and Riya’s manager were also questioned.

Riya was Arrested and Many Bollywood Stars were Questioned

NCB detained Riya, her brother Shouvik, and Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda on September 4, 2020. Following that, there was a discussion concerning drug use in Bollywood.

Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor, as well as Rakulpreet Singh, were present. On September 23, the NSB summoned him for questioning. This case is currently being investigated. The NCB raided actor Arjun Rampal’s Bandra home on November 9 in connection with the narcotics case. Sushant’s housemate, Siddharth Pithani, was arrested on May 28, 2021.

Riya Chakraborty, on the other hand, was released on bond in October 2020. Shouvik, his brother, is also free on bond. Riya spent over a month in Mumbai’s Byculla jail after her detention in September. Shouvik, meanwhile, was granted bail three months after his detention.

Riya’s Case has been Thrown Out due to a Lack of Evidence

ED sources added that after a month of questioning, Riya had no evidence that she had committed any money laundering. There’s also no evidence that she took Sushant’s money without his permission.

According to ED officials, no transactions between Sushant’s bank account and those of Rhea and her family members have occurred. The ED, on the other hand, has not validated these stories. It’s crucial to note that Sushant Singh Rajput’s death had nothing to do with drugs, and no link has yet been established by any investigating body.

Riya’s use of medicines to pacify Sushant has surely made headlines in the media. The NCB has arrested ten persons so far, including Riya and her brother. Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda, Sushant’s employee Dipesh Sawant, and drug suppliers Zaid Vilatra, Basit Parihar, Anuj Keswani, Kaizan Ibrahim, Abbas Ali Lakhani, and Karan Arora are among the ten people named.

The Investigation is being Carried out by all Three Central Agencies

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput is being investigated by the CBI, NCB, and ED. The actor’s death by suicide and then murder was linked to the use of narcotics. Before March 2021, the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) filed a 12000-page chargesheet in the Special NDPS Court in this case.

According to sources, the chargesheet names 33 people, including actress Riya Chakraborty. In addition, 200 persons have been called as witnesses. Based on the first arrest in September, the NCB had six months to file a charge sheet.

The agency searched multiple places in Maharashtra during its six-month investigation and busted a drug ring operating in the city and within Bollywood. Many movie stars were also questioned as a result of this. The agency delivered all of these statements and other facts to the court in the form of a charge sheet, which will now be validated before the accused is summoned to appear in court.

Riya was Granted Permission to Travel Overseas Last Month

Let us remind you that Riya was granted permission to travel to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA award event by a Mumbai court earlier this month. However, she was unable to visit him because he was the subject of a lookout notice.

Riya claimed in her court application that her career had been harmed and she had lost money as a result of the criminal case and media trial. Sushant’s death was also probed by the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) to see if it was a suicide or a murder.

He also looked into Riya’s involvement, as well as if Sushant had transferred Rs 15 million to her account. According to Sushant’s relatives. The investigation was completed in December 2021, but the conclusions have yet to be released six months later. Maybe things are moving a little faster now.

Suicide was Declared by an AIIMS Panel

The AIIMS panel in the Sushant Singh death case determined that he died of suicide rather than murder. Sushant Singh Rajput was not killed, but rather committed suicide, according to Dr Sudhir Gupta, the AIIMS panel’s chairman.

After reviewing Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report, the AIIMS team came to this conclusion. However, the inquiry into the family’s allegations of murder plot is still ongoing. Sushant’s followers are waiting for the truth about their favorite actor’s demise to be revealed. It’s unclear when this delay will come to an end.
