According to the India Meteorological Department, Delhiites awoke to a cold morning on Saturday, with the minimum temperature settling at 7 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal (IMD).

According to data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality index was in the’severe’ category on Saturday morning, with an AQI of 412 at 9 a.m.

An AQI of zero to 50 is considered ‘good,’ 51 to 100 is considered’satisfactory,’ 101 to 200 is considered’moderate,’ 201 to 300 is considered ‘poor,’ 301 to 400 is considered’very poor,’ and 401 to 500 is considered’severe.’

According to the weather department, the city will have mostly clear skies and a maximum temperature of 23 degrees Celsius.
