Mahindra will launch the new generation Scorpio in India very soon, and the vehicle has already been spotted several times during testing. Now that this information has been made public, the company will be able to introduce it in the country under a different name.
Mahindra’s new Scorpio is expected to be introduced to the market under two different names: Scorpio Sting and Mahindra Scorpio, according to a recent media report. Although no official information has been received to date, it is possible that the company will name the powerful variant of the new SUV the Scorpion.
As a result of the new Scorpio, Mahindra has decided to continue selling the existing Scorpio model. As a result, the new Scorpio will not be a replacement for the current Scorpio.
Infotainment system with a 9-inch touchscreen
In addition to the advanced driver assistance system seen in the recently launched Mahindra XUV700, the most significant additional feature that the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio will receive is a redesigned front fascia. Additionally, this feature is expected to be available on the top-of-the-line vehicle.
Customers can also take advantage of high-tech features such as a 10-speaker audio system, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED lights throughout the vehicle, six airbags, and connected car technology at this location. In addition, the company will include a 360-degree camera with this vehicle, which will make the new Scorpio a fantastic SUV in terms of safety and security.
The new Scorpio appears to be extremely powerful
A great deal of information about the Scorpio of the next generation has been revealed. On the front of the SUV, a large grille is visible that wraps around the entire front portion of the vehicle, according to the rendering image. The LED headlamps that are attached to it can also be seen as being a part of this grille design.
It has a powerful appearance, thanks to the shark fin antenna, spoiler on the rear door, and multi-spoke alloy wheels that have been fitted to the new Scorpio. Because the SUV used in the testing was completely covered with stickers, it is not possible to reveal any additional information about it. In addition to providing strong bumpers on the front and rear of the new Mahindra Scorpio, the company has also included LED taillamps in the package.
mHawk Turbo Petrol 2.0-Liter Engine
When it comes to features, the SUV may be equipped with options such as a multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging, among others. It is possible that the new generation Scorpio will be equipped with a 2.0-liter mHawk turbo petrol engine that produces 155 bhp and 360 Nm of peak torque, as well as a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that generates 150 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. Both of these engine configurations are available with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission from the company.
