What Do We Know About The Kia EV6?

Because Kia plans to sell the EV6 as a CBU (completely built unit), no changes to the design, features, e-GMP platform, or electric powertrain are expected. The EV6 is designed with Kia’s latest ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy in mind, giving it a sleek and sporty appearance.

The Kia EV6 will have a dual-screen layout on the inside, with one for the digital dials and the other for the infotainment system. The EV6 has a new two-spoke steering wheel, an augmented reality heads-up display, and a number of ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) safety features.

While we don’t yet know what powertrain configurations Kia will offer in India, we do know what options are available globally. A 58kWh battery pack version is available in two configurations: rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a 170hp single-motor or all-wheel drive (AWD) with a 235hp dual-motor setup. A larger 77.4kWh battery pack is available with a 229hp single-motor in RWD, 325hp dual-motor in AWD, or the range-topping, performance-focused GT model, which has a dual-motor AWD layout that produces 585hp and 740Nm.
