Michele Cilenzi is a shy thirteen-year-old child from Trieste who lives with his single mother (a neighborhood police inspector). She is usually ignored at school and is often picked on by university threats. Classmate Stella, as the object of his necessities, wants to participate in a flower dress festival. Sadly, the fifty-euro observation he was using to buy a superhero costume was stolen by bullies. As an alternative, she has to accept a less expensive outfit that she’s instructed to belong to an obscure Chinese-language superhero who has mystical powers.
The bullies embarrass Stella at the festival by pretending that he is secretly filming her on his telephone. Mortified, Michelle escapes in the evening, but not before the dress makes her invisible. He later learns that his wish has come true. First, he uses his strength to get back at the gangsters and spy on his female classmates in their underwear in the changing room.
Apparently the kids are going missing at school and eventually Stella is kidnapped too. In the end, a mysterious blind man tells Michelle that he is her father and that he and Michelle are members of a secret Russian group called The Specials. All the members of this group have superpowers and that the kids are disappearing is an attempt by The Special to locate Michelle.
By now Michelle can overcome her invisibility and by escaping from the head of the Special, she helps rescue the children before her father wipes everyone’s memory.
The film ends with the revelation that the head of The Special is definitely Michelle’s actual mother. The final scene shows him knowing that although he has not recruited Michelle, he has kept his sister in Morocco.
