The GoPro Volta, Battery, and Camera Control Grip Will Be Available for Purchase on May 16: Price and Specifications

GoPro Volta, the new battery and camera control grip from the camera and drone manufacturer, was released in India on Friday. The Volta grip combines with the usual GoPro battery to enable prolonged recording times of up to four hours at 5.3K resolution, according to the manufacturer. The grip has many functions, including built-in camera controls for one-handed camera control. The Volta may also be used as a wireless camera remote and can be put to use as a tripod. Compatible with a variety of GoPro cameras, including the Hero 10 Black. Volta may be used to charge any USB Type-C compliant device.

The GoPro Volta is priced at Rs. 13,500 and will be available from May 16 through the company’s online and imaging partners. End of March, GoPro released the Volta grip alongside the GoPro Hero 10 Black Creator Edition camera for $129.99. (roughly Rs. 10,000).

Built-in to the GoPro Volta is a battery rated for up to four hours of 5.3K recording at 30 frames per second. The input power of the grip is 5V/3A and the output power is 5V/2.4A.

The 4,900mAh battery used with the camera’s ordinary battery triples the standard battery capacity. The Volta’s integrated camera controls are designed to make one-handed control simple, allowing users to turn on/off, start/stop, capture, and changing modes.

The grip includes tripod legs that can be used to create stable images. Users will also be able to control the camera remotely from up to 30 meters away (30 metres). The Volta’s mounting fingers facilitate the grip’s attachment to backpacks.

The Volta’s weatherproof design includes indicator LEDs for battery life and camera modes. The grip is compatible with a variety of GoPro cameras, such as the Hero 10 Black, Hero 9 Black, and Hero 8 Black.

The business says that the Volta can be charged in 2.5 hours using the GoPro supercharger. Additionally, the grip may be used to charge any USB Type-C compatible device, including GoPro Max and previous GoPro cameras.
