The Facelifted Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is Now Available in Dealerships

The Maruti Suzuki WagonR 2022 was introduced to the Indian market in February, and it has now begun to arrive at Maruti Arena dealerships.

The new Maruti Suzuki WagonR for 2022 was introduced to the Indian market in February, and it has now begun to arrive in dealerships. The tallboy hatchback is priced starting at 5.39 lakh (ex-showroom) and rising to 7.10 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec trim.

WagonR has been tweaked with a range of new updates inside and out when compared to the previous model. Its exteriors have been refreshed, giving it a more sporty appearance. In addition, the car’s feature list has been updated, and it now has a new engine. LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ are the four variants available for purchase.

The car received new black alloy wheels with the latest mid-cycle update, as well as the option of dual-tone colours Gallant Red and Magma Grey with a contrast black roof. The car has a slightly sportier appearance thanks to the use of updated colour options.

A 1.0-litre K-Series dualjet, dual VVT petrol engine with 66bhp of maximum power and 89Nm of peak torque sits at the heart of the vehicle. A 1.2-litre K-Series dualjet dual VVT engine with idle start-stop technology is also included. This powertrain is capable of producing 89 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. The model is also available in a CNG version, according to the company. The car has a five-speed manual transmission and an AGS (automated manual transmission).

ISS in petrol variants and Hill Hold Assist in AGS variants are among the redesigned features. A 17.78cm (7″) SmartPlay Studio with smartphone navigation and four speakers has also been added to the car. It is also supported by cloud-based services to provide customers with a connected driving experience.
