BMW X4 Facelift 2022: Design
Because the X4 is an SUV Coupe derivative of the X3 facelift, it shares many of the same exterior styling changes, giving it a more modern appearance. Larger kidney grilles, slimmer LED headlights, new front and rear bumpers, and a sleeker and more sculpted set of taillights are among the changes.
The new X4 is also available in the Black Shadow Edition, which features an all-black paint job with gloss accents on the grille, wing mirrors, exhaust pipe, and wheels. This follows in the footsteps of the 2 Series and X7 Black Shadow editions.
Facelifted BMW X4 for 2022: Interior and Features
The interior of the cabin is largely similar to that of the pre-facelift model. There are a few notable differences, including a larger 12.35-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system (up from a 10.25-inch unit on the previous model), re-shaped central AC vents, and updated switchgear.
The fully equipped X4 M Sport comes with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Harman Kardon surround sound, three-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, hands-free parking, 360-degree cameras, adaptive suspension, and cruise control, among other features.
Engine Options for The BMW X4 Facelift in 2022
The new X4 comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 252 horsepower and 350 Nm, as well as a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 265 horsepower and 620 Nm. Both engines are mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and come standard with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system.
