The 2022 Panigale V4 SP2 limited edition racing motorcycle was unveiled by Ducati. It’s based on the Panigale V4 motorcycle that the Italian sports bike manufacturer just released.
The Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 is equipped with a MotoGP-derived engine. The 1,103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine produces 215.5 horsepower at 13,000 rpm, which is only 1.5 horsepower more than the Panigale 2021. The Akaprovic exhaust system, which is available as an option, boosts the power to 228 hp and 131 Nm of torque.
The Ducati Panigale V4 S2 is equipped with a 520 chain, the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, and lightweight carbon fibre rims. Racing footpegs and other carbon components are also included.
It has a Brembo Stylema R brake system with a Brembo MCS (Multiple Click System) radial pump for braking. It allows the rider to customise braking feel by quickly and easily adjusting the wheelbase in three settings.
The electronic package on the Ducati Panigale V4 SP2 includes four riding modes: Race A, Race B, Sport, and Street. Ducati has also created dedicated gear-by-gear torque curves for the bike, as well as four different power modes.
The digital instrument console also gets a MotoGP-inspired track Evo display mode, which displays the rev counter on a horizontal scale in the top part of the instrument console, with the gear indicator in the middle.
