The new Infinity electric scooter is the first on the market to include a battery choice. Bounce has released the Infinity e-scooter with a ‘Battery as a Service’ option, allowing users to purchase the vehicle without a battery. This has also allowed the EV manufacturer to price the scooter competitively against established competitors like the Bajaj Chetak Electric, TVS iQube, and Ather 450X.

Bounce Infinity is powered by a two-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that can travel 85 kilometres on a single charge. The e-scooter has a top speed of 65 kilometres per hour. It includes a Drag mode, which allows users to drag the scooter if it becomes punctured. For easy activation of functions, the scooter can be coupled with a smart app.

Bounce also revealed earlier this year that it had acquired a 100 percent ownership in 22Motors in a deal worth close to $7 million. Bounce has also announced that it has bought 22Motors’ production plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan, as part of the acquisition. The factory has the capacity to produce around 180,000 scooters per year. Bounce is also planning to build a new facility in Southern India.
