TATA’s ‘Chhota Hathi’ electric avatar to be launched soon

Tata Ace EV: Tata Motors recently unveiled the electric version of the Tata Ace small commercial vehicle. This vehicle is known as Chhota Hathi in the market, and it has been popular with customers for 17 years. The S Electric, according to TATA, can travel up to 154 kilometres on a single charge.

Tata Ace EV: Tata Motors first introduced the Ace commercial vehicle in India 17 years ago, and the company is now working on a fully electric version. This small commercial vehicle is extremely popular in India, and it is known among customers as the Chhota Hathi. It is also among the best-selling small commercial vehicles in the segment, with a 70% market share. Tata Ace is available in three fuel options: petrol, diesel, and compressed natural gas (CNG), with an electric version coming soon.

What is the expected cost?

The Tata Ace Electric’s prices have not yet been announced, but the current ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5.50 lakh, so we expect the new Ace to cost between Rs 6-7 lakh. The Tata Ace is the first vehicle to feature the company’s Evogen powertrain, which provides up to 154 kilometres of all-electric range. It’s paired with a 21.3 kWh battery pack that produces 36 bhp and 130 Nm of peak torque, and it’s ready in a flash.

High-tech technology

The Ace Electric has an advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking system, according to Tata Motors, which increases the driving range. Amazon, Big Basket, City Link, DoT, Flipkart, Let’s Transport, Moving, and Yellow EV have also signed Memorandums of Understanding. More work will be done in this partnership to deliver 39,000 S EVs, strong electric vehicle support for better traffic, and many other things.
