Tata Punch will Auction a One-of-a-Kind Kaziranga Edition at The 2022 IPL

During the IPL 2022, the one-of-a-kind Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to the Kaziranga National Park, which is home to India’s one-horn rhinos.

Tata Motors has announced a limited-edition version of its latest SUV Punch, which will be auctioned off during the IPL 2022 tournament. The new Kaziranga edition of the Punch, which is inspired by the one-horn rhinos found in Assam’s Kaziranga National Park, has been unveiled with videos and images.

The Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition will make its debut during the 2022 IPL season.

The official sponsor of this year’s IPL is Tata Motors (Indian Premier League). The one-off Punch will be built by the company and will most likely be based on the top-spec Creative trim.

The Meteor Bronze exterior colour scheme will be exclusive to the special edition Tata Punch. The special edition Punch appears to be identical to the regular model on the outside, with the exception of a few cosmetic changes to make it stand out. A special Rhino badge has been placed inside the rear windscreen and glovebox of this edition of the Tata Punch.

In October of last year, Tata Motors unveiled the Punch subcompact SUV. Punch is available in four trim levels: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. The base model of this car costs 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model costs 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s also one of the safest SUVs on Indian roads, with the Punch receiving a five-star rating in Global NCAP crash tests last year.

A 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine will power the Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition. The engine has a peak torque of 113Nm at 3300rpm and can produce 85bhp at 6000rpm. There’s no word on whether this special edition model’s engine will be paired with a manual or automatic transmission.
