During this time, work was done with 1000 elephants who carried marble stones from one place to another. Skilled craftsmen were called from abroad to make it. Out of them 37 skilled artisans were assembled, under whose supervision about twenty thousand laborers worked. “Shilpastar Ustad Ahmed Lahori” was the head of its construction work. Lahori were Persian and were called from Iran. In addition, craftsmen from Central Asia were invited to carve the designs on the stone.
