The design and styling of Maruti’s three-row SUV will be slightly different from the Grand Vitara. According to the reports, the same powertrain as the Grand Vitara can be given in it. In such a situation, it will not be able to compete with the Toyota Fortuner at all, but it will compete with many 7 seater cars, such as Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700 etc.

Grand Vitara will be offered with this powerful engine

Maruti Grand Vitara comes with 1.5L K15C petrol engine with mild hybrid technology. This setup produces 103bhp max power. It has been brought with 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. The top-end mild hybrid manual variant gets an AWD system. Whereas, the SUV also comes with a 1.5L Atkinson cycle petrol engine (92bhp) sourced from Toyota. Strong hybrid technology is available in it. The combined power of the setup is 115bhp. It gets E-CVT transmission.

Grand Vitara 7-Seater now in your budget

Its price can be between Rs 10.45 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh. Its codename is Maruti Y17. This 7-seater SUV will be built on the Global C platform.
