“I believe it is past time for us to stop apologising for a woman taking the lead,” Sushmita Sen said.

In a recent interview, actress Sushmita Sen discussed how ’90s heroines were often overlooked on movie posters and billboards because the focus was always on the heroes. Salman Khan, one of Sen’s ’90s heroes, shared a photo of a hoarding of Sen’s popular web series, ‘Aarya Season 2’. Khan spotted the billboard on his way to work and took to Instagram to thank his ‘Biwi No 1’ and ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia’ co-star.

Sen seemed ecstatic about Salman Khan’s gesture in an interview with News18. “I’ve completed my journey. That’s wonderful that you noticed. ‘This is incredible,’ I thought. I believe it is simply a coincidence.
