Staff tests positive after Amitabh reveals ‘dealing with domestic Covid situations’

According to Amitabh Bachchan’s blog, he is dealing with some Covid issues.

In his most recent blog, Amitabh Bachchan discussed “dealing with some domestic Covid situations.” Last year, the actor tested positive for the virus and spent a few weeks in the hospital.

A BMC official said Wednesday that a staff member at one of his bungalows tested positive for Covid-19. One of the 31 staff members of both of the veteran actor’s bungalows, Pratiksha and Jalsa, tested positive during routine Covid-19 tests, according to the BMC official.

“The BMC’s CCC-2 (COVID Care Center-2) has quarantined the staff,” he said.

He went on to say that the positive staff is symptom-free.

“Fight.. fighting.. and with the prayers of all.. no further.. no more description.. just that the show goes on..” the 79-year-old actor wrote in a motivational poem on his blog.

“Be in the calm of the Almighty, who looks upon us with His grace and protection… the human does many disparaging things…” he continued. He forgives us and assigns us the task of leading us down the path of righteousness.. we follow the unknown force.. it has yet to be discovered; and we wonder if it will.. but we remain in its encased bubble of safety.. until.”

“Dealing with some domestic Covid situations.. will connect later,” he wrote at the end of the blog.

Amitabh Bachchan, his son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, and granddaughter Aaradhya Bachchan all tested positive for the novel coronavirus in 2020 and were subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment. Amitabh had received his vaccination in May of last year.

He had previously described how he spent time in the hospital while undergoing isolation treatment. “Yahan kuch logon ke sath unke vicharon pe uttar diye,” he wrote on Twitter, “kuch swayam soch vichaar kiya, kuch purane cricket match dekhe, kuch samay vishraam kiya, ek documentary dekhi, naam na bataoonga, dawaayon ka sevan kiy I rested for a while after watching a few old cricket matches. I saw a documentary, but I won’t say what it was called. I took some medicines and then spent some time learning more about the phone before doing a pranaam (Indian salutation).”
