Ms Chanu has impressed billions world wide along with her expertise, handwork, and grit, the minister stated.

Mirabai Chanu, who returned to India Monday night, lifted a complete of 202kg (87kg+115kg) within the 49kg class on Saturday to higher Karnam Malleswari’s bronze within the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
Ms Chanu, who’s from Manipur, was promoted as an Officer on Special Duty (Sports) within the Northeast Frontier Railway in April, 2018.
