Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah have kept their places in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers.
There were rankings for Tests and One-Day Internationals on Wednesday by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Sharma and Kohli have dropped to 8th and 10th in the men’s Test rankings for hitters, which is bad news for Indian players.
It looks like Rohit and Virat have both lost a place in the new rankings. Virat has 742 rating points, and Rohit has 754 rating points, so they both have good scores. Marnus Labuschagne of Australia has been at the top of the Test batting rankings for a long time now.
It only has Rohit and Virat in the top 10. There is still no change in the world’s second-best ODI batter, but the current captain has moved up to fourth place with 791 points. Babar Azam, who is from Pakistan, is still at the top of the batting charts with 872 points.
The ICC Men’s rankings: Bowling is at the top of the list
Ravichandran Ashwin and Jasprit Bumrah, two Indian cricketers, have kept their places in the ICC Test rankings for bowlers. It looks like Ashwin and Bumrah have both kept their No. 4 spots in the Test bowling rankings, which means that both of them are still in the top 2.
Ashwin and Bumrah each have 850 and 830 points to their names. Pat Cummins, the captain of Australia, is still the best Test bowler in the world.
Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian bowler on the list of ODI bowlers. The fast bowler from Gujarat has kept his place as the world’s sixth-ranked ODI bowler with 679 points. Shakib Al Hasan, from Bangladesh, and Adam Zampa, from Australia, are the two most recent additions to the list. They both gained four and six places, respectively.
He has moved to eighth on the list, while Zampa has moved up to number 10. Trent Boult, a New Zealander who bowls fast, still has the most points on the ODI bowlers’ list with 733.
Ravindra Jadeja, an Indian all-rounder, is still the best Test all-rounder in the world. Ravichandran Ashwin has moved up a place to be No. 2. Chris Woakes, Shakib Al Hasan, Mohammed Nabi, and Rashid Khan are still the best all-rounders in the ODIs, but Ben Stokes has moved up a place to become the fifth best all-rounder. There is no Indian player in the top 10 ODI all-rounders.
