Following the success of “Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya,” director Swaroop has directed “Mishan Impossible,” starring Taapsee Pannu. The trailer received a lot of positive feedback. Chiranjeevi, the megastar, also promoted the film.

Let’s see if “Mishan Impossible” is truly captivating.

Story: Raghupathi, Raghava, and Rajaram aka RRR, three high school students from a village near Tirupathi, decide to make a fortune and gain fame. They intend to travel to Mumbai in the hopes of apprehending Dawood Ibrahim and winning a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.

Investigative journalist Shailaja (Tapsee), on the other hand, is on a mission to expose the child trafficking ring led by Ram Shetty (Harish Peradi).

How did Raghupathi, Raghava, and Rajaram end up in this situation and become involved in Shailaja’s’mission’?

Performances by Artists:

Taapsee has a short running time. Shailaja’s role as a journalist is far too simple for an actress of her calibre. She does an excellent job in a simple and minor role.

Harsh Roshan, Bhanu Prakash, and Jayateertha Molugu, three schoolchildren, are at the centre of the story. The kids have been a great source of entertainment. They have acted with such conviction in their roles. They are the stars of the show.

Harish Peradi, who plays the main villain, stands out among the other cast members.

Technical Mastery:

The cinematography and background music are both appropriate for the story’s theme. Editing is acceptable. Dialogues can be quite amusing at times.

The film “Mishan Impossible” is based on a concept. Concepts, on the other hand, only work if the basic premise is credible.

The basic plot is as follows: Three students from a remote village assist an investigation team in apprehending a child trafficking mafia leader. However, the children are from a middle/lower-middle-class family and have no knowledge of English or geography.

They intended to travel to Mumbai but ended up in Bengaluru. They still believe that when Andhra Pradesh was divided into AP and Telangana, Mumbai’s name was changed. They also have poor English and spelling skills. They misspell the word’mission’ as ‘Mishan’ (hence the title).

How can you believe them when the director puts them in a situation where they have to uncover a major fraud using technology?

They have no idea how much money is worth, but they set up hidden cameras and microphones in a mafia den. Where is the element of trustworthiness?

Director Swaroop, who made his name with his first film “Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya,” knows how to make simple situations funny. He starts the first half of the movie with a laugh. The banter between the three kids is also entertaining.

It’s fine if the idea is to throw three innocent kids into an impossible mission and turn them into heroes. The kids, on the other hand, act like Paramanandayya sishyas at times and smart at others. The final part is amusing because of this consistency. The spy-cam story becomes clumsy.

The final portions are handled in an illogical and contrived manner. Plus, Taapsee behaves more like a cop or a CBI agent than a journalist. Some of the scenes are reminiscent of the recent film “Varun Doctor.”

Ravindra Vijay’s backstory as a participant in this mission is the only one that holds water in the second half.

In a nutshell, ‘Mishan Impossible’ suffers from a lack of logic, as well as a poor handling of the final section, despite some lighthearted moments. The film is based on a thin plot but lacks a compelling narrative.
