Reports indicate that the all-new Renault Duster will be ready by the end of 2023 and will be released in 2024. The new model will be a scaled-down version of the bigster SUV concept that debuted in 2021. The Bigster SUV with seven seats is anticipated to be introduced in Brazil in 2023-2024. The new Renault Duster compact SUV will be built on the CMF-B platform, which will also underpin the larger SUV produced by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance.

According to reports, a new generation of the Renault Duster is also in the works for India. The India-specific model could be based on the new CMF-B LS platform, which is a lower version of the CMF-B platform used by the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The CMF-B LS version will be more affordable, as it was designed with developing markets’ conditions and requirements in mind.

The optimization of the platform will involve the addition and removal of certain technologies. However, it will adhere to global security standards. Similar to the global model, the India-specific model will likely feature a hybrid drivetrain. The new model will also retain the previous Duster’s off-road capability. The Duster 44 was one of the least expensive 4WD SUVs on the market.
