Ranveer Singh was considered for Don 3, but Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan won

It has been quite a while since the latest installment of Don was released in theaters. The first installment of the franchise starred Amitabh Bachchan. In the sequel, Shah Rukh Khan assumed leadership and gained hearts.

Now that Farhan Akhtar has begun working on it, there are speculations that Ranveer Singh is being considered. Scroll down for complete information.

Last Saturday, Big B commemorated Don’s 44th birthday by tweeting about it. The image captured him signing a signature on a movie poster. What drew attention was the fact that Shah Rukh Khan was also in the photo. This sparked rumors of a probable crossover in the subsequent installment.

Now, according to a report by Times Of India, Ranveer Singh was also considered by Farhan Akhtar and the Don 3 team. Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan are the ideal actors to play the lead roles in the film, therefore the producers would have restricted their choices down to these two.

Meanwhile, there were speculations that Don 3 production had commenced in 2019. Later, however, it was claimed that Shah Rukh Khan had withdrawn from the project in order to participate in the Rakesh Sharma biography. He did not sign that later on.

In response, Farhan Akhtar told us in 2019: “I don’t know why I’m being asked questions regarding topics for which I have no answer. If I had a thought, I would share it with the world.

When I am writing a script, I am not engaged in espionage. If I have a script for a Don sequel, I will gladly share it with the public, as I am frequently asked about it. It would be foolish of me not to share with them, you know. I will thus inform you as soon as it occurs. There is nothing to conceal.”
