On June 6 in Bengaluru, the Ranji Trophy 2022 knockouts will begin with quarterfinal matches.
The league stage and knockouts will be held two months apart, with red-ball cricket paving the way for the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in late March. In India, the premier domestic red-ball tournament will be played in June for the first time ever.
Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Karnataka, Mumbai, Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh qualified directly for the quarterfinals from the league stage.
In the meantime, Jharkhand advanced to the quarterfinals with a victory over the winner of the plate group, Nagaland.

In the first semifinal, the winner of Quarterfinal 1 (Bengal/Jharkhand) faces the winner of Quarterfinal 4 (Punjab/Madhya Pradesh). In the second semifinal, the winner of Quarterfinal 2 (Mumbai/Uttarakhand) faces the winner of Quarterfinal 3 (Karnataka/Uttar Pradesh).

Are spectators permitted to view the Ranji Trophy 2022 knockout matches?
The BCCI has issued an official statement prohibiting spectators from entering the stadium during the knockouts, which will be played under bio-bubble security. The release states, “The presence of spectators is prohibited in accordance with the bio secure protocol regulations established by the State and Health Regulatory Authorities.”
