Prices of Maruti Suzuki Cars and SUVs Increased by Up to Rs 30,000

In order to offset the increase in input costs, the manufacturer has raised rates on its Arena and Nexa products, according to the company.

Price hike at Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki, like most other carmakers, has blamed the price increase on rising input costs.

The Dzire sedan, which has seen the smallest price increase, will now set you back an extra Rs 10,000. Meanwhile, the WagonR hatchback, which is now Rs 30,000 more expensive, is the model on the other end of the spectrum. The following table shows how much each Maruti Suzuki Arena model will cost more.

Nexa is Maruti Suzuki’s higher-end retail outlet, where the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6, and S-Cross are currently available. The Ignis (Rs 15,000) is the Nexa model with the lowest price increase, while the S-Cross, Maruti Suzuki’s flagship SUV, has the highest price increase (Rs 21,000). Maruti Suzuki will release the updated Baleno hatchback in late February 2022, followed by the new Brezza SUV in April. In addition, the carmaker will introduce a Creta-rivaling midsize SUV in collaboration with Toyota. The midsize SUV will be built at Toyota’s Bidadi plant in Karnataka and will be based on the DNGA platform.
