Prices of gasoline and diesel have risen for the first time since November 2021; see current fuel prices here

For the first time since November 4, 2021, India’s fuel prices were raised on Tuesday, March 22. According to data from the Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol in Delhi is Rs 96.21 per litre, while the price of diesel is Rs 86.67. Petrol costs Rs 110.82 in Mumbai, while diesel costs Rs 95.

According to media sources, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has put pressure on global crude oil prices, could lead to a fuel price increase. Because imports account for 80% of India’s oil needs, global oil prices have an impact on Indian oil prices. Russia is regarded as a major role in the global oil trade.
