Engine options for The Porsche Cayenne Platinum Edition
The Platinum Edition can be equipped with the same engines as the standard Cayenne around the world. A 3.0-litre turbocharged petrol V6 produces 335 horsepower, while the E-Hybrid produces 455 horsepower by combining a 3.0-litre petrol V6 with an electric motor and a 17.9kWh battery. There’s also a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine with 439hp. It’s unclear which of these engines will be available on the Cayenne Platinum Edition in India.
In India, Porsche has a Presence
In India, Porsche has recently added new models to its 718 and 911 lineups. In India, Porsche recently introduced the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 and 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, which are more road-oriented sportscars than the GT4/Spyder models. The 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 Touring twins were introduced by the German automaker shortly after. Along with the facelifted Macan, Porsche launched its all-electric supercar, the Taycan, in India late last year.
