Patna Schools Closed Till 8 January Due To Cold

“It appears to me that the health and life of children are at risk due to the widespread cold weather and low temperature prevailing notably in the morning in the district,” the District Magistrate stated in a statement.

“Prohibit the academic activities of all private and government schools in the Patna district up to Class 8 until January 8, 2022,” the District Magistrate said.

Patna has been suffering from a cold wave for the past few days.

“Patna District Magistrate announced that all government and private schools up to class 8 will be closed until January 8 in view of the extreme cold wave in the state,” according to a social media post by ANI.
