ozark season 4 release date
Ozark Season 3 landed on Netflix on March 27, 2020, releasing all ten episodes at once. Each episode of the season has a runtime of 53–66 minutes.
As far as the fourth season is concerned, here is what you must know. On June 30, 2020, Netflix flagged off the show for its fourth and final round. But the good news is that, with the number of episodes being 14, the upcoming season will also be the longest ever. Although an exact release date remains unknown, it was revealed that Season 4 will air in two halves of seven episodes each.
The third season of the hit series was watched by nearly 30 million people in the first four weeks of its launch. Hence, handing over a new order to the show was a no-brainer for the streaming giant. However, due to the pandemic, the production team can start the filming of the final installment only in November 2020. In regards to production time, Jason Bateman (Marty) told Collider, “I think the fastest we can do is turn a full season. It’s basically 12 months, starting with the writers’ room, for Netflix to move forward. There’s no way to hurry it.” But COVID-19-imposed filming protocols could extend the time needed to complete production. Therefore, we can expect the release of ‘Ozark’ Season 4 Sometime in Q4 2021 or Q1 2022.

Ozark Season 4 Plot: What’s It About?
The third cycle ends on a serious but terrifying note. Wendy acknowledges the role she played in the murder of her brother Ben. But Marty asks him to see how it will help solidify his position in Navarro’s plans and make him indispensable to the criminal. Wendy and Marty realize that removing members of the Lagunas Cartel from Navarro’s back would be another way to influence him. As the season draws to a close, Helen dies, and Navarro states that she looks forward to working closely with the Byrds.
The fourth season will begin moments after Helen is murdered. Although being in Navarro’s good books might give Marty and Wendy some sort of protection for carrying out their illegal actions, it would also mean flying too close to the sun. Therefore, whether he will continue on the same path or enter into a settlement with the FBI, it is not yet known. The Byrdes have already led some members of their family to their disastrous ends. So either way, Marty and Wendy will find themselves between a rock and a hard place.
