Oppo will have an event in India today to introduce the K10 smartphone and the Enco Air 2, a new pair of fully wireless earphones.
The Oppo K10 will be released in India today. The K10 will be the first phone in the K-series to arrive in India. The K-series has been available in China for a long time. Oppo released some teasers for the K10 ahead of its launch, revealing crucial characteristics. The phone is expected to have a large display, 50-megapixel triple cameras, expandable RAM support, and a 5000mAh battery with rapid charging. However, if you were looking for a 5G phone with the K10, you will be disappointed. The K10 will be a 4G phone, according to Oppo.
Oppo will also unveil its new Enco Air 2 fully wireless earbuds alongside the K10. The first time these earphones were released was in January, but just for the Chinese market. The Enco Air 2 wireless earbuds from Oppo have a translucent “jelly” casing design. The Enco Air 2 earphones are the follow-up to the Enco Air earbuds. The Enco Air 2 has a few features that Oppo has confirmed, including a 24-hour battery life.
Expected price of the Oppo K10
According to reports, the Oppo K10 will be available in India for less than Rs 20,000. That makes logical, however given that the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor, the pricing should ideally be under Rs 20,000. For example, the Realme 9i, which uses the same Snapdragon 680 CPU, starts at Rs 12,999, while the Redmi 10, which also uses the Snapdragon 680 chipset, starts at Rs 10,999.
Expected price of Oppo Enco Air 2
On the Oppo website, the price of the Oppo Enco Air 2 was listed. According to the website, the next TWS earphones would cost Rs 9,999. However, this could just be a placeholder, and the actual price could be substantially lower, especially since the earbuds may not include premium features like active noise cancellation.
Specifications of the Oppo K10
The Oppo K10 is expected to include a 6.5-inch LCD with a 1080×1920 pixel resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. According to the Oppo website, it will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor, which means it will not support 5G. The phone will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but if you believe you’ll need additional RAM, Oppo has confirmed that the K10 will support the extensible RAM feature, which allows you to use some of the phone’s unused storage as dynamic RAM.
On the rear of the Oppo K10, there will be three cameras. The Oppo K10 will include a 50-megapixel main camera, according to Oppo. Oppo has not divulged the specifications of the other two cameras, but according to a recent report, the phone’s rear would feature a 2-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera. Oppo has revealed that a 16-megapixel camera with AI features will be available for selfies. The phone would have a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, according to reports.
