Gujarat News: Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to his mother Heeraben on her 100th birthday in Gandhinagar on Saturday morning and received her blessings. He gave his mother a special shawl as a gift. At around 6.30 p.m., the Prime Minister arrived in Raisen village, outside of Gandhinagar, where his mother lives with his younger brother Pankaj Modi. PM Modi lingered for about a half-hour.
Bhandara was set up
The Prime Minister’s mother was born on this day in 1923, according to PM Modi’s family members. On this occasion, a Bhandara has been held at the city’s Jagannath temple. On Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, various programs will be held at Hatkeshwar temple in Vadnagar, his hometown.

PM Modi was in Gujarat for a two-day visit following the BJP’s victories in four states, including Uttar Pradesh, in March. He met his mother Heeraben there to learn about her condition and receive blessings. PM Modi met with his mother for the first time in two years.
