Ola Electric Cars are Expected to have a Futuristic Appearance

Ola appears to be following a minimalist but futuristic design for their upcoming cars, all of which appear to be sedans, similar to the Ola S1 and S1 Pro scooters. The first car, which was teased, has a low bonnet and wraparound headlights. The back end hints at a stubby boot with full-length taillights similar to the Kia EV6.

The second car has a wraparound effect for the front lights, but the headlamps are twin-units, and the front bumpers are aggressively styled.

The third vehicle has a single bar for the front lights and a different tail-lamp design. A sedan with a swooping roofline is shown in other teaser images.

Battery, Production, and Price of Ola Electric Cars

Ola hasn’t revealed any details about their upcoming electric cars, but we can confirm from a source that Ola’s first electric car will have a large battery – around 70-80kWh in capacity – and thus a long range. It’s unclear whether Ola will use the same battery pack for all of their models.

According to our sources, production of the first electric car will begin as early as the end of 2023. The Ola electric sedan’s larger battery pack and positioning as a ‘large sedan’ means it won’t be cheap, and we expect prices to be around Rs 25 lakh.
