In India, the Okinawa Okhi-90 electric scooter has been released. It has a starting price of Rs. 1.22 lakh (ex-showroom). On Okinawa, there are already a number of high-performance electric vehicles on the market. The new Okhi-90 electric scooter will compete in the market with models such as the Ola S1 Pro, Ather 450X, and TVS iQube.
A fully digital instrument cluster and a thick grab rail for the rear seat passenger have been added to this new scooter. It also comes with 16-inch aluminium alloy wheels, which are the first in the segment. It has a 3800-watt motor in the centre. This scooter, according to the manufacturer, can travel up to 160 kilometres on a single charge. At the same time, its top speed ranges from 80 to 90 kilometres per hour.
A 72V 50 AH lithium-ion battery with fast charging support powers the Okhi-90. According to the manufacturer, this scooter can accelerate from zero to ninety kilometres per hour in just ten seconds. It also has a boot space of 40 litres. This e-scooter also comes with two ride modes. In the Eco, riders can reach speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour. It will be able to run at full speed in sports mode at the same time.
The Okinawa Okhi-90 also has an automatic keyless start feature with a knob. This e-scooter also includes a number of connected features. Music Play Control, Vehicle Battery Charge Status, Geo Fencing, Find My Vehicle, Trip History, Driver Score, Speeding Alerts, Navigation, and Vehicle Status are just a few of the features available. It’s available in four colours: red, white, blue, and grey.
