Official Kia Carens Sketches Revealed Ahead of December 16th preview

On December 16th, 2021, the Kia Carens SUV will make its official world debut.
The new Carens is the first vehicle in the country to feature Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy.

On Tuesday, Kia India released the official teaser images for its upcoming Carens, which will have its world premiere on December 16th, 2021. Kia claims that the new Carens will usher in a “new class of recreational vehicles” in the United States.

In India, the new Carens is the first vehicle to feature Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy.

The new SUV is inspired by ‘contrasts found in nature and humanity,’ according to the Korean automaker.

The front end features the company’s signature ‘Tiger Face’ design, which includes a prominently highlighted intake grille, LED headlamps, and daytime running lights (DRLs). According to Kia, these elements work together to give the car a powerful and impressive appearance. The Carens’ SUV-like side profile contributes to the car’s more muscular stance.

The Carens’ cabin has also been teased, with a high-tech wraparound dash design. The teaser also shows the use of chrome garnish on the doors, which gives it a more premium appearance. For a more modern look, a 10.25-inch Audio Video Navigation Telematics (AVNT) display has been placed in the centre of the dash.
