MG’s much awaited Comet EV will be introduced in the Indian market in April, 2023. MG Motor India has recently revealed from the official image that it will come with an EV 2 door set-up. With just 2.9 meters in length, it will be the smallest car in the Indian market. In fact, it is smaller than the Tata Nano. The new model is expected to be priced around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It will compete with the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroen eC3.

Below the windscreen is an LED light bar along with a chrome strip that runs across the width to merge the ORVMs. The company has released the official image of this car and all the models will have a dual-tone color theme.

Despite being compact in design, the MG Comet EV promises a host of comfort and convenience features to its occupants. The cabin will share features and design layout with the Air EV. It will get a layered dashboard in a dual-tone shade. The small car will get sleek air-con vents, conventional rotary knobs for AC controls, multi-functional two-spoke steering wheel and digital instrument console and a large single-piece screen for the touchscreen infotainment unit. The hatchback will feature dual 10.25-inch displays – one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation, automatic air conditioning, keyless entry, connected car tech and steering mounted controls.
