Yamaha has unveiled the MT-03 for worldwide markets in 2022. It also gets minor visual updates and a cleaner engine for the 2018 model year.
To begin, the Yamaha MT-03 receives a new colour scheme named Cyan Storm for 2022. This colour scheme is based on the MT-07 and MT-10, and features a greyish paint with cyan and red highlights. In addition, the motorcycle is outfitted with cyan-colored wheels to complete the image. Yamaha is now providing this new paint scheme in addition to the Icon Blue and Midnight Black colours, with the Ice Fluo colour being phased out.
Aside from the visual changes, the 2022 Yamaha MT-03 receives a cleaner, Euro 5-compliant engine that still produces 42 horsepower and 29.6 Nm. The remainder of the motorcycle, however, is unchanged. Full-LED lighting and an LCD instrument cluster are included. The MT-03’s chassis consists of a 37mm inverted front fork and a monoshock at the rear, with 298mm and 220mm discs with dual-channel ABS providing braking. The 2022 Yamaha MT-03, on the other hand, is light at 168kg and has a 14-litre fuel tank.
